Pr. Dr. Patrizia Anna D'Alessio
MD (University of Milan) · PhD (Utrecht University) · Associate Professor of Cellular Biology (Paris 5 & Paris 11, 1998–2012, HDR 2000) · CEO AISA Therapeutics (2005-2026)
A physician specialized in internal medicine and hematology, with a doctorate in hemorheology, and a professor of cellular biology for 15 years in the medical faculties of Paris, Patrizia D’Alessio is a globally recognized expert in the molecular mechanisms of inflammation, stress, and the biology of aging.
Her work focuses on cellular senescence and its reversibility, as well as the role of inflammatory markers, leading to the identification of a non-toxic anti-inflammatory molecule derived from a bio-guided research on more than 2,000 plant extracts. She founded AISA Therapeutics in 2005, holder of 3 international patents (Europe, USA, China).
